If you are going to take a clever idea, like taking out a want ad out for a Democratic gubernatorial candidate, and are only going fork over enough cash to pay for an ad in the classified sections of a few newspapers, just use Craigslist: it's free, more people will read the actual ad and the earned media that results from the stunt will be roughly the same.
