John Gard blah blah blah ...

Frank Lasee is thinking twice about challenging John Gard for the GOP nomination in the 8th-CD this fall ...

If Gard and Kagan rally want to do the people of Wisconsin a favor they should both drop out and let Lasee and Tom Nelson run for Congress. Better yet, drop out in spectacular fashion: lurid sex scandal, disclosure of ties to the mafia/drug cartels, some crazy scheme to overthrow a small African government on a bicycle ...

Get serious! John Gard is the only one who has a shot at sending Steve Kagen back into private practice where he belongs...

However, that alone won't guarantee him a victory. The Gard campaign has to learn from the last election and avoid the kind of negative campaigning that turned off independent voters!

I suppose I didn't make my point clear in this post:

I don't either Gard or Kagan running for the 8th CD. Both are boring. Both campaigns will be run by party approved hacks. It will be just a replay of what happened in '06.

None of that interests me.

What I do want to see, specifically, is Lasee vs. Nelson man-a-mano throw down between two rather creative, yet attention starved, fellows. That's what I call entertainment.

Gard will go just as negative as he did last last time. Kagan will return the favor. We've seen this song and dance before. It was boring the first time, it'll suck just as much this time around.
