Alright, this has been bugging me since I started what is sure to be a lucrative career hot on the John and Julia Jazwiec case: the Jazwiecs said they gave the robber an iPhone ... aren't cell phones basically GPS trackers? And if that's the case, wouldn't it be really easy to find this guy the minute he turned the thing on?
Even if that's just a product of a mind that's seen a few too many re-runs of CSI, isn't an iPhone something that's expensive enough to come included with a serial number or some other kind of identification mark that a pawn broker could presumably check at the point of sale?
Just asking ...
