Is it just me or was the reason why the candidates decided last night would be a good time to bring the funny was because they had absolutely nothing to say about the economy? Aside from Ron Paul's toned down "return to the gold standard" rhetoric, the solution every other candidate seemed to have for the economy was that we "must remain confident."
Great, but that doesn't seem to be happening at the moment. Any other bright ideas?
MORE: In other words, no one's buying it.
EVEN MORE: ... And the economy's only going to become a bigger issue.
