Akaoni Speaks

Babblemur's co-blogger gives a great account of his caucus-going experience.

Two things stand out. The first:

After a few more minutes we were asked to reconvene in the gym for the initial count and speeches of support for the candidates ... The two most notable speeches were from Clinton and Kucinich for very different reasons. Clinton’s speech came not from a caucus goer, but rather from a volunteer from New York who was campaigning for Clinton. She gave a rambling and personal account of her support for Clinton and refused to stop speaking when her time expired.

(emphasis added)

The second, which was actually far more interesting, involves the horse-trading excitement of the caucus.
