Take Ross Douthat's advice and wonk out on the discussion between Bruce Bartlett and Eric Kleefield on the joys of tax policy. It kept me entertained for most of yesterday -- I even printed out copies of Bartlett's article in The Independent Review and the Team Romer paper on the "starve the beast" strategy, which has been something of a mild obsession since reading Jonathan Rauch's piece in the Atlantic last year.
