Michelle Monte: Not Helping Esslinger's Case Very Much

Michelle Monte jumped into the Appointmentgate fray yesterday offering this gem:
Look at the facts. Check the list of appointments. Check the list of current committee members. Mrs. Mattox is still on a committee where once she was on two. Having one person on multiple committees seems counterproductive to allowing as many as possible serve the community.
We took her advice and noticed that Esslinger actually appointed someone to the Plan Commission -- Robert Vajgrt -- whom he also reappointed to another board (the Police and Fire commission)!

Anyone care to explain that inconsistency?

When dealing with Montes' it just isn't possible to find intelligence or logic...

Did anyone ever think that she would support giving that guy one committee or the other instead of assuming? Besides, after reading her post, I took it that she was answering questions posed of her. She was not defending her husband or sticking up for Esslinger. Someone that should be questioned is Hentz who is on the attack and got her post on the Appeals Board through nepatism and has stayed there quite a while through the same process of kissing the right butt.

Nepotism? Hardly. Attack? Who have I "attacked?" We seem to have different understandings of what that word means. In fact, my op-ed piece was quite tame compared to anything else out there. And exactly whose butt have I kissed? The Board of Appeals is overseen by the Department of Community Development, headed up by Jackson Kinney. Anyone who knows anything should know I have been one of his biggest critics over the years. Care to try explaining your comments or shall we just chalk your anonymous drivel and baseless accusations up to someone who is skilled at slinging arrows.

5:04,

No questions were posed of Monte. She took it upon herself to jump in and of course she was defending her husband and Esslinger. Duh. Ever wonder why none of these people can defend themselves? They're always rushing in to save each other's hide.
