MORE: It occurs to me that, even though Big Hollywood exists to push a conservative agenda, it's managing editor is a post-modernist who rejects the idea of a filmic canon. This would be abhorrent to conservative literary theory and pretty much exposes John Nolte as a cranky hack who's just being a dick for the sake of being a dick.

Where is this culture going if there is a segment of our society that is simply proud to exalt their preference for lowbrow entertainment over meaningful art?
The Palinization of the right is gaining steam.
Oh, come now. I know a few postmodernists, such as they are. They may harbor incredulity towards meta-narratives, and have a bit too much with the occasional close reading of Jennifer Aniston's oeuvre. But they have exquisite taste.
