Dan Shafer has an editorial in the most recent Advance-Titan calling for changes at the Winnebago Mental Health Institute.
It's a decent piece of student opinion journalism. Shafer is clearly on the right track here and I hope he doesn't stop with just an editorial. Last week I made a few suggestions on how the Northwestern should go about covering the issue and since that advice has apparently fallen on deaf ears, this could be a golden opportunity for Shafer (or someone else at the AT) to run with the story.
It would be a great way to pad your portfolio when shopping for jobs after graduation.
