Is 2010 the Best Sports Year Ever?

First we had an epic Superbowl between the Saints and Colts ...

Then there was probably the best hockey tournament of all time during the Olympics ...

And now we've just finished the most bonkers March Madness anyone can seem to remember ...

I know it's only April, but so far this year's championship games have all been extremely memorable.

Disagree, 2008 was the best sports year:

-Giants score biggest upset ever in Superbowl over undefeated Patriots

-Michael Phelps and Usain Bolt steal the show at the Olympics, the most highly anticipated Olympics in recent memory, aka "China's coming out party".

-A monumental collapse/comeback by Kansas over Memphis in the final minutes of the NCAA tournament.

-Tiger Woods pulling out an epic playoff vs. Rocco Mediate in the US Open, on a torn ACL, instant classic.

-Phillies winning the world series.

-New look Celtics cap off one of the more memorable Championship years in recent memory, led by rejuvenated Pierce, Allen, and KG. Against their long-time rival the Lakers no less, led by Kobe.

-Federer and Nadal put on for the Wimbledon Final a 7 hour epic that is widely considered maybe the single best tennis match ever, with Nadal finally prevailing.

And I even forgot Spain finally conquering its demons to win a ridiculously exciting 2008 euro cup.
