What the Does this Mean?

Really, Widgerson should know better:
I don’t think a successful boycott is likely, but someday the NFL may wonder when it started to lose a significant portion of its fan base. It will have begun when fathers stop looking forward to sitting with their sons on Sundays after church and watching their favorite teams together. It will be when we find that we just have better things to do with our time.
Is he seriously suggesting that Limbaugh not owning the Rams will have a long term impact on the football audience?

A month from now people will have forgotten all about the Limbaugh fiasco because they'll be too busy talking about the play-off race.

When that excerpt is read in the proper context, it is clear I meant a cumulative effect of different factors, including some that have not yet occurred. I'm hopeful your readers will read the post in it's entirety. They might even learn my name is spelled W-i-g-d-e-r-s-o-n.

Bull ticky. My father was such a rabid football fan that he didn't go to church. Might miss a game....
And what about the rest of the population who loves football? Guess you have to be a church going father or son in Wiggy's world, huh.

Seriously- can you imagine the sh*tstorm of bad PR that could only come from the likes of LB? Man, talk about damage control. NFL shut that problem down before it even started.
Amen.
