Academic rivalries are as old as academia itself and are often times wonderful fodder for extremely entertaining works of
fiction and
non-fiction alike. Somehow I doubt that the current spat between
Ted Honderich and Colin McGinn will elevate to this level, but it certainly is entertaining to watch.
